1. Select the eyeshadow colors you want to use. Typically, you'll use a lighter shade as a base and a darker shade for the crease.

2. Apply base eyeshadow (often called eyeshadow primer)

3. Dip the tip of the crease brush into the darker eyeshadow. Tap off any excess to prevent fallout.

4. Find your eye's natural crease by looking straight ahead into a mirror.

5. Using the crease brush, apply the darker eyeshadow to the crease with a windshield wiper motion.

6. Blend the eyeshadow using back-and-forth and circular motions.
